DJ Lady Duracell is a female house music DJ, radio station owner, manager, content creator and mentor.  She is over 20+ years deep in the music business.

We Get Lifted was formed in 2005, as a way for Lady Duracell to share the love of the music to like-minded people. It started as a radio show, then a podcast. That evolved into events held all over London, at Pacha, Egg and Koko in conjunction with Roger Sanchez’ Release Yourself party, and with a massive event with the Swedish House Mafia.  

Her musical roots are firmly in deep, soulful, afro house music, as well melodic and progressive house, and trance, and has held down some long-running prime time radio shows, including her flagship Get Lifted Radio Show, Diggin Deep, Deeperflight and Full Circle.

As well as holding down some stellar residencies over the years, including Promised Land and FunkInYou at Koko, and Bobby & Steve’s Presents and many more, she has been running her successful Get Lifted podcast for many years, attracting a global audience.

2020 saw the launch of her radio station – We Get Lifted Radio (WGLR) which has a full roster of some of the world’s most credible and cutting edge global radio shows, all carefully curated and programmed by LD to present the listeners with the best of house music, progressive house, melodic house & techno, and trance. 

We Get Lifted Radio is a unique global platform with a loyal community who support the emerging and established artists who share her passion for uplifting sounds, and melodic rhythms.
